BC PNP Tech Pilot (Under Skilled Worker)
29 eligible tech occupations — software engineers, IT managers, data scientists, cybersecurity, AI/ML, DevOps, etc.
- Job offer: minimum 1 year (not indeterminate)
- 120+ calendar days remaining at time of applying
- Targeted Tech Draws held separately
- Made permanent June 2021
2. Health Authority Stream (SI + EEBC)
Apply Directly — No Registration Needed!For healthcare professionals with a job offer from a BC health authority. Unique stream — you can apply directly without registering in the SIRS system.
- Job offer from eligible BC public health authority
- Physician, nurse practitioner, psychiatrist, nurse, or allied health professional
- Recommendation letter from BC health authority
- Meet certification/licensing requirements for BC
- Education, training, experience for the position

3. International Graduate Stream (SI + EEBC)
Recent Canadian GraduatesFor recent graduates from eligible Canadian post-secondary institutions with a BC job offer in a skilled occupation.
- Degree/diploma from eligible Canadian institution (within 3 years)
- Undergraduate/graduate degree OR 8+ month diploma from eligible public BC institution
- Full-time BC job offer (NOC TEER 0–3)
- Language: CLB 4 for NOC B | No test for NOC 0/A
- Must have credentials for the position
- Diploma: not more than 25% co-op/internship
4. International Post-Graduate Stream (SI + EEBC)
NO Job Offer! Apply Directly!For Masters or PhD graduates from eligible BC universities. No job offer required and apply directly — no SIRS registration or wait for ITA!
- Masters or PhD degree from eligible BC institution
- Must be in a natural, applied, or health sciences program
- NO job offer required
- Apply directly — no registration needed
- Degree must be from specific eligible BC schools (UBC, SFU, UVIC, UNBC)
5. Entry Level & Semi-Skilled (ELSS) — SI Only
NOC TEER 4–5 | Tourism/Hospitality/Food ProcessingFor workers in semi-skilled and entry-level positions who have 9 months BC work experience in eligible occupations. No Express Entry BC option available for this stream.
- 9+ months experience working in BC in eligible occupation
- Full-time BC job offer (NOC TEER 4–5, ELSS-eligible list)
- Currently working in BC in tourism, hospitality, or food processing
- Language: CLB 4 minimum
- No Express Entry BC option

Get SIRS Score & ITA
BC ranks all profiles by SIRS score (max 200). Periodic draws invite highest-scoring candidates.
Apply within 30 Days
Submit full application within 30 calendar days of ITA. Pay CAD $1,475 fee. Upload all documents.
BC PNP Assessment
BC PNP reviews application. May request interview or additional documents. 2–6 months.
Receive Nomination
Receive Confirmation of Nomination. EEBC: Accept in EE profile → +600 CRS → ITA in next draw.
