Stream 2: Critical Worker Stream
NOC TEER 4–5 | Must be in PEIEmployer-driven stream for workers in semi-skilled/unskilled positions already working in PEI in critical demand occupations.
- Currently working in PEI with valid work permit
- Job offer: full-time, long-term (NOC TEER 4–5)
- Min. 6 months experience with PEI employer
- Language: CLB 4 minimum
- High school diploma or equivalent

Category 3: Business Impact — Work Permit Entrepreneur Stream
For experienced entrepreneurs who want to own and operate a business in PEI. Two-step process: first get work permit, then nomination. (Note: 100% Ownership and Partial Ownership streams were permanently terminated in 2018.)
